Pietro Piciocchi graduated at the University of Genoa on 17th April 2001, with a dissertation in Constitutional Law. On 19th May 2006 he achieved the Ph.D. in Methods and techniques for law drafting and assessment at the University of Genoa, with a thesis about “The system of regional and local tax law. Constitutional issues and legislative techniques”.
He trained at the Avvocatura Distrettuale dello Stato and then he moved to law firms of national and international relevance specialised in the fields of tax and administrative law, where he continued practising after he qualified as a lawyer in 2004.
He sustained the bar exam at the Genoa Court of Appeal and since 25th November 2004 he is a member of the Genoa Bar Association.
Between 1st July 2008 and 16th November 2011, he was legal consultant at the Technical Secretariat of the Home Secretary at Viminale.
Between the academic year 2007-2008 and the academic year 2016-2017 he has been contract professor of public law at the University Luigi Bocconi in Milan.
He is the author of many pubblications and lectures about financial law, tax law and administrative law and he held seminars at masters and other specialization courses.
He also held important public positions of responsibility and menagement, like that of Commissario Straordinario of the Azienda Pubblica di Servizi alla Persona Emanuele Brignole from 2015 to 2017 and the current public office of Assessore al Bilancio e Patrimonio del Comune di Genova from 2017.

Prof. Avv. Simone Carrea graduated at the University of Genoa in 2009, with a dissertation in International Law. In 2012 he qualified as a lawyer at Genoa Court of Appeal and he is member of Genoa Bar Association since 25th October 2012.
In 2013 he achieved the Ph.D. in civil, company and international law at the University of Genoa. During his studies, he attended the University College of London within the Erasmus programme (academic year 2007-2008) and he visited the Max Planck Institut für ausländisches und internationales Privatrecht.
He is currently professor of International Law at the Department of Law of the University of Genoa. He taught at several specialization, master and Ph.D. courses and he participated as speaker to several conferences, both in Italy and abroad.
He is the author of several publications in the area of international law and tax and administrative law, among which a book on the issue of territorial cooperation published in 2017 (“Coordinamento e integrazione tra ordinamenti: il caso del GECT. Diritto internazionale e diritto dell’Unione europea”) and a second book published in 2020 regarding the position of private actors in the law of the sea (“I rapporti tra Stati e imprese nel diritto del mare tra attribuzione della bandiera, delega di funzioni e sponsorship”).

Chiara Gambino graduated in Law in 2009 with a dissertation in European Union Law.
In 2012 she qualified as a lawyer at Genoa Court of Appeal and she is member of Genoa Bar Association since 25th October 2012.
In 2014 she achieved the Ph.D. in Democracy and human rights at the University of Genoa.
From January to April 2012 she worked as trainee at the Court of Justice of the European Union in the cabinet of Judge A. Tizzano. During her studies, she attended the University College of London within the Erasmus programme (academic year 2007-2008) and visited the European University College of Fiesole (June-July 2013).
She is the author of several publications in the area of European Union Law and Tax Law.

Milena Raffo graduated at the University of Genoa in October 2011, with a dissertation on criminal law.
From 2012 to 2013 she attended the School of Specialization for Legal Professions at the University of Genoa, graduating in June 2013 with a dissertation on civil law.
From 2014 to 2015 she trained at the Avvocatura di Stato of Genoa, where she practiced in the area of civil law and administrative law.
She qualified as lawyer in October 2016 at Genoa Court of Appeal.
Since 2016 she works full-time with the Firm, dealing in particular with administrative law and public contracts.
Mr. Massimiliano Alloise graduated cum laude in 2022 from the University of Genoa with a master’s degree in law with a thesis on Financial Law entitled “The taxation of dividends and interests in the European and international context”.

Since September 2022, he has been working permanently with the firm as a trainee lawyer, deepening, in particular, his knowledge of tax law and administrative law.
Since May 2023, he has attended the Genoa’s Bar Association School “M. De Andrè”.
